Overview

Weili’s winch reducer drives a cable drum through a multistage planetary gear train. The manufacturer describes a compact construction, an integrated parking brake and compatibility with several variable- and fixed-displacement hydraulic motor series. Its ratio envelope is 26–420 and the published maximum-output-torque envelope is 7.5–325 kNm. Those maximum values must not be presented as continuous rated torque. A winch selection also needs the drum diameter, line pull, reeving arrangement, speed cycle and braking duty. Confirm the complete motor/reducer/brake assembly and the manufacturer’s load calculation before using it in lifting equipment.
