Before you specify this gearbox

Confirm input and output shaft directions, rotation, ratio and load capacity. A right-angle geometry does not by itself establish interchangeability.

• Confirm continuous, peak and emergency-stop load limits separately.
• Match the motor flange, shaft, mounting orientation and lubrication requirements.
• Request the current drawing revision and selection calculation from the manufacturer.

TK Spiral Bevel Gear Reducers

TK combines helical gearing with a spiral-bevel stage to turn power through a right angle. The manufacturer identifies Gleason spiral-bevel gearing and positions the family for installations where drive layout or height limits make an inline unit unsuitable. Published ratios extend from 5.36 to 197.37 across TK38–TK188. Its 50,000 Nm torque ceiling describes the series envelope. Check the shaft arrangement, output connection and mounting orientation as well as the selected ratio. A combined reduction arrangement needs its own manufacturer selection rather than a multiplication of unrelated catalog limits.

JIAOXING

JHG Helical-Hypoid Gear Reducer

JHG combines a hypoid first stage with additional gearing in a compact right-angle reducer. Jiaoxing lists sizes 50, 63 and 75. Two-stage units cover ratios 7.5–60, while three-stage units cover 80–300. The source identifies a hollow output and notes mounting compatibility with its JMRV range, which should be checked against the actual dimensional drawing before replacement. Ratio ranges describe available combinations, not a torque rating. Provide the motor speed, required output torque, duty cycle and mounting position so the supplier can confirm the correct stages, lubrication and thermal capacity.
