Where an attractive catalog number can mislead

Our selection notes explain how to use the published material; they are editorial guidance, not a Boneng performance guarantee.

H is not B with a different label

Boneng presents H as a helical line and B as bevel-helical, with two-, three- and four-stage arrangements and different output-shaft options. Confirm whether the installation needs a parallel or right-angle drive, then compare the drawing, mount and service factor for that arrangement. Official H/B range ↗

Choose P at the actual speed and load

Boneng's P selection catalog separates transmission capacity, radial-force limits, outline dimensions and lubrication. A family-level maximum torque and maximum ratio do not establish one valid operating point. Send the continuous and peak load profile with output speed and hours of operation. P selection catalog ↗

Map T's input and output shafts

The T spiral-bevel range includes several shaft arrangements. For ratios other than 1:1, Boneng says the selected input shaft changes whether the drive reduces or increases speed. Draw the required shaft positions and rotation directions before asking for a model. Official T range ↗

Treat R as a mounted assembly

The R worm gearmotor range offers foot, flange and torque-arm mounting and solid or hollow output options. State the motor supply, installation orientation and shaft interface together; a gearbox-only ratio does not describe the delivered assembly. Official R range ↗
