Overview

AHB is Beitto’s helical planetary reducer family for servo-motor installations. The company-hosted catalog names sizes 042, 060, 090, 115, 140 and 180. Its model-code page lists reductions of 3 to 10 in one stage and 15 to 100 in two stages, while the features page states standard backlash of 3 arcmin for the described configuration. A cutaway drawing shows the planetary gearset, output shaft and motor connection. The catalog also describes needle-roller bearings, anti-separation grease and installation in any orientation. AHB should be selected by housing size, ratio, backlash grade and motor adapter; request the frame-specific torque and load table rather than treating the ratio envelope as a capacity rating.
