MANUFACTURER DOCUMENTATION
Overview
WR is an inline helical-reducer range with two- and three-stage gear trains. WUMA lists HT250 cast iron for the housing and foot, shaft and flange installation options. The source identifies thirteen frame designations and a family efficiency envelope of 94–98%, rather than a single efficiency valid at every load. WR and the newer modular MR range are separately named by the manufacturer; this page documents WR only. For replacement work, compare the complete mounting drawing and motor connection, then ask for a model-specific ratio and torque rating at the intended input speed.

Before you specify this gearbox
Helical gearboxes are used in a broad range of industrial drives. Mounting position, service factor, thermal capacity and lubrication are part of selection, not just the nameplate power.
- Confirm continuous, peak and emergency-stop load limits separately.
- Match the motor flange, shaft, mounting orientation and lubrication requirements.
- Request the current drawing revision and selection calculation from the manufacturer.
