MANUFACTURER DOCUMENTATION
Overview
WMRV is WUMA’s compact right-angle worm-reducer family. The documented sizes run from 25 to 185, with listed ratios from 7.5 to 100. The manufacturer offers aluminum and cast-iron housings across the range and IEC motor flanges or customized interfaces. The distinctive housing version shown here belongs to the official WMRV product page. It is a useful starting point for space-constrained industrial drives, but a ratio alone does not establish thermal or output-torque capacity. Specify the frame, input motor, mounting position, operating hours and required shaft arrangement before requesting a drawing and selection calculation.

Before you specify this gearbox
Check efficiency, heat dissipation, duty and back-driving behavior for the particular model. Do not assume that every worm gearbox is self-locking.
- Confirm continuous, peak and emergency-stop load limits separately.
- Match the motor flange, shaft, mounting orientation and lubrication requirements.
- Request the current drawing revision and selection calculation from the manufacturer.
