Overview

PMCG-I-E 20 is documented here using the manufacturer’s frame-20 rating table. Rated torque is 33 Nm at ratio 50, 44 Nm at ratio 80 and 52 Nm at ratios 100, 120 and 160, all at 2,000 rpm input. The source separates these ratings from start-stop, average-load and momentary limits. Cup-shaped component set describes the integration format; it does not make this unit interchangeable with another strain-wave assembly of the same ratio. Check the flange drawing, bearing loads, input connection and operating cycle before specifying a joint. Backlash values are converted from the original arcsecond figures only in the configuration table.

Before you specify this gearbox

Specify rated torque, repeated peak torque, momentary peak torque, duty and lifetime. Backlash, lost motion and transmission accuracy are distinct characteristics.

• Confirm continuous, peak and emergency-stop load limits separately.
• Match the motor flange, shaft, mounting orientation and lubrication requirements.
• Request the current drawing revision and selection calculation from the manufacturer.
