Specify rated torque, repeated peak torque, momentary peak torque, duty and lifetime. Backlash, lost motion and transmission accuracy are distinct characteristics.

Confirm continuous, peak and emergency-stop load limits separately.
Match the motor flange, shaft, mounting orientation and lubrication requirements.
