RX · single-stage, higher output-speed route

Six sizes: 57 / 67 / 77 / 87 / 97 / 107. The official page lists foot or flange mounting, ratios 1.30–8.65, maximum-output-torque values spanning 69–830 Nm and motor power 0.12–45 kW with an AM motor adapter.

The supplier names roller, belt and chain conveyors. Provide driven geometry and forces along with torque and speed, and specify the selected motor connection rather than treating the adapter power range as every motor option.

SEW describes RM specifically for agitators, with an extended output bearing hub to address overhung/axial loads and bending moments. The selected bearing arrangement and life still require the actual force diagram.

Application-led architecture

An agitator's support problem is different from a conveyor's.

For a mixer, send vessel geometry, shaft length, impeller location, material state and the torque/load cycle. Include radial/axial forces and bending moment at the gearbox reference. Ask whether the selected RM support arrangement fits the machine or whether additional support is needed.

For a conveyor, provide pulley/sprocket diameter, belt/chain forces, overhang, supported shaft arrangement, starts and jams. Select RX or R against output speed, torque and the bearing load—not solely the motor power.

The official range also allows modular combinations with AC or servo motors. Specify motor and control requirements, starting/stopping behaviour, brake/feedback scope and environment as part of the complete drive.

Use the original drive identity for replacement and support.

Send a readable nameplate, serial/order information, current motor/control details and machine drawing. Describe why the drive is being replaced: wear, changed output duty, overheating, noise or a changed process.

Same envelope, different duty?

Compare the full designation, actual ratio, mounting position, output interfaces and motor options. A matching nominal size or motor power alone does not establish interchangeability.

Identify the load behind a failure

Record operating cycle, temperature, lubrication history and abnormal loads. Check the machine supports and alignment before specifying a like-for-like replacement.

Agree the service boundary

Ask the relevant China contact for the applicable spares, inspection, repair or replacement route. Confirm responsibilities, documentation and any commercial terms in the actual quote.

The official China contact directory names SEW-传动设备（天津）有限公司 at 46 Seventh Avenue and three Tianjin sales contacts at 78 Thirteenth Avenue. Use the relevant contact to confirm the contracting entity, supply scope and manufacturing/assembly location for the configured order.

Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area's February 2025 announcement names that transmission-equipment company's production-line upgrade among the first industrial equipment-renewal candidate projects. It is a dated local project reference, not a statement that every global SEW variant is produced at that site or that a particular delivery has been inspected.
