Reducer, geared motor or integrated drive?

The official company page describes motor drives, small and special electric machines and precision reducers. Decide which components your machine already supplies before requesting a quote.

The catalog identifies the reducer frame, ratio, precision grade, input connection and applicable motor. The motor drawing belongs in this enquiry.

ZE ordering code

The input shaft is an ordering decision.

The ZE model-number description distinguishes S1, S2 and custom adapters. Send the actual motor shaft and flange drawing, rather than only motor power.

S1 · locking ring

The manufacturer says S1 can be used with or without a motor keyway, but a D-type shaft is not applicable. Check shaft diameter, usable engagement length and access to the clamping screw.

S2 · keyed connection

S2 is the keyed input arrangement. Match key dimensions and shaft tolerance to the adapter drawing and specify which party supplies the key.

A · other adapter

The catalog directs other adapters to the manufacturer. Include the motor model, pilot diameter, bolt pattern and available axial envelope so the adapter can be confirmed before fabrication.

Precision grade and test load

The ordering note describes precision with output-shaft load at ±5% of allowable output torque. Agree the applicable torque, fixture and measurement method; a grade name alone is not an acceptance test.

090ZE · single-stage example

At the catalog's rated input speed of 3,000 rpm, the 090ZE table lists different rated output torques as the ratio changes. Compare a complete configuration.

The ZE table shows no P0 value for the 090ZE column. Do not apply the ≤1 arcmin entry from larger frames to this unit. Two-stage P1/P2 entries also differ from this single-stage example.

External shaft force has a stated condition

The 090ZE column lists 2,985 N radial force and 1,625 N axial force. The corresponding footnote refers to 100 rpm output speed and the center of the output shaft. Send the actual pulley or gear position and force directions for an overhung-load review.

Life is not an unconditional 20,000-hour promise

The table marks service life as 20,000 hours with an asterisk; its footnote gives 10,000 hours for continuous operation. Put your operating hours and cycle in the enquiry and request the life basis for the selected assembly.

Accept the fitted assembly, not just the nameplate.

For a reversing servo axis, review acceleration and braking torque, reflected load inertia and cycle time with the motor and reducer together. The catalog separates rated torque and emergency-stop allowance. Repeated production moves should be checked as a load cycle; the emergency entry is not a substitute for the working rating.

The official dimensional tables separate single-stage and two-stage units. Attach the table and drawing for the exact order code to the purchase order, with adapter dimensions confirmed against the motor drawing. Do not build a surrounding machine from a photograph or reuse the input dimensions of another stage count.

Agree how backlash will be measured under the catalog's stated load condition, and whether your machine requirement is specified at the reducer output or at the driven tool. Record the motor adapter, reducer ratio, precision grade and drawing revision together. A replacement that fits the mounting holes can still have a different shaft connection or precision grade.

The annual report establishes the listed-company identity and domain. It does not independently test a ZE unit. Ask for the selected unit's inspection and traceability documents when those are part of your acceptance requirements.

Output shaft forces, pulley/gear location and orientation; mounting drawing and available envelope.
Precision acceptance load and measurement point; lubrication/environment and inspection requirements.
Quantity, delivery destination, supplied-component boundary and the final drawing revision.
