Industrial drive packagesSGR
Specify the drive around the machine.
SGR combines planetary and toroidal worm transmissions with input/output interfaces, hydraulic drive options and accessories. For a shredder, conveyor or rotary mechanism, the enquiry needs to connect the load cycle to the motor, support, brake and lubrication arrangement.
An actual published assembly
Hydraulic motor + planetary reducer for a shredder.
SGR's official assembly page identifies MN1E710C2S(*)-CRM-(*), pairing a single-stage planetary reducer with a CRM-HA/HB radial-piston hydraulic motor. Its application text describes shredder rotors driven through the reducer to tear and compress mixed waste materials.

What the assembly changes
The manufacturer's description includes reversible rotation, low-speed stability, a face-flange connection and hollow internal spline or alternative output forms. It describes provision for a brake and speed sensing using the motor's hollow-rotor arrangement.
For a shredder, provide the material stream, rotor geometry, expected cutting torque, peak/jam events and planned reversing sequence. Give the available pressure and flow at the motor under load, together with cooling and return-line conditions.
Specify what the supplier includes: motor, reducer, brake, speed sensor, flange adapter, output spline and mounting hardware. The published page gives an application and assembly route; it is not a selected pressure-flow-torque operating point.
Official assembly and application description ↗Choose the shaft layout and connections before the size.
The official N-series parameter table, displayed on the MNC3E400 page, distinguishes coaxial and bevel right-angle arrangements. These are family limits, not a rating for every MNC3E400 configuration.
| N-series table | Coaxial arrangement | Bevel right-angle arrangement |
|---|---|---|
| Published ratio envelope | 3–11,000 | 10–65,000 |
| Published input-speed limit | ≤4,000 rpm | ≤2,000 rpm |
| Output-torque family limit | ≤500,000 Nm | ≤500,000 Nm |
The original N-series table also lists 0.25–132 kW input power. Do not pair the largest ratio, torque and power as one unit. Request the selected frame, stage count, input/output speed, torque and thermal duty together.
Input connection
The table offers induction motor, hydraulic motor, cylindrical shaft, spline and hydraulic-brake input arrangements. Send the actual motor flange, pilot, bolt pattern and shaft/spline drawing. Identify adapter and coupling responsibility and the space available for removal.
Output and support
Published options include solid shafts, splines, hollow bores, shrink-disc connections and face flanges. Show the driven shaft/hub, torque-arm or foundation arrangement, external force directions and overhang. Agree fit, key/spline details, tightening instructions and support loads.
The broader planetary category lists cooling/lubrication devices and backstops as optional accessories. Include ambient temperature, hours at load, mounting position and lubrication access in the proposal. Identify whether your machine needs a driven cooling system, oil monitoring or a backstop.
A component specification
A brake needs its own load and release conditions.
The official F-series wet-friction hydraulic brake table lists static torque, release pressure, maximum pressure, release control volume and shaft speeds. Keep brake component data separate from reducer output torque.
| Parameter | F150 | F200 |
|---|---|---|
| Static torque | 1,500 Nm | 2,000 Nm |
| Release pressure | 40 bar | 45 bar |
| Maximum pressure | 315 bar | 315 bar |
| Release control volume | 35 cm³ | 71 cm³ |
| Rated shaft speed | 1,200 rpm | 800 rpm |
| Maximum shaft speed | 1,500 rpm | 1,000 rpm |
Transcribed from the official hydraulic brake page. Static torque is not a dynamic stopping-energy rating. Confirm the brake's position in the drive, approved mating interface and operating conditions.
Specify holding load, direction, shaft speed, number of stops, stop energy and release timing. Ask which valve/circuit and control volume are needed to release the chosen brake, and how the motor, brake and machine controls are coordinated. The 315 bar maximum-pressure entry is not the release setting.
When the route is a toroidal worm drive.
The toroidal category describes double-enveloping contact, a carburized/quenched and ground 20CrMnTi worm, and an alloy-bronze wheel. It lists modular arrangements, two-stage units and planetary/worm combinations.
Load and heat together
Send working and peak torque, input/output speed, running time and starts per hour. Ask for mechanical and thermal selection for the chosen mounting position and ambient conditions. Include lubricant, oil level, cooling and maintenance access in the assembly specification.
Holding and reverse drive
The category discusses self-locking at high ratios. For an axis that must hold a load, ask for the selected unit's backdriving behavior under the actual load, vibration, lubrication and wear conditions. Agree the required independent holding/braking provisions with the machine designer.
Replacement drawing
SGR describes installation interchangeability and customized transmission parts. Compare the actual center distance, shaft centerlines, mounting holes, shaft fits and coupling location. Obtain an approved drawing for the replacement and surrounding equipment.
Material and acceptance
Ask for unit-linked material and treatment records, the agreed gear-contact inspection and running-test requirements. A manufacturing-route description does not supply the selected gears' hardness or inspection results.
Shanghai design, manufacture and technical service.
The official company overview identifies Shanghai Hezong Heavy Industry Machinery, trading as SGR, at No. 879 Jinliu Road in Jinshan. It describes planetary and double-enveloping worm development, a four-axis complex-profile grinding machine, worm/hob measurement, coordinate measurement and a gearbox power/performance test platform.
For an OEM purchase, connect those capabilities to your order: selected gear/material records, dimensional inspection, running and performance test conditions, and the approved assembly revision. The workshop image above comes from the specific hydraulic-drive product page.
A Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration publication also lists the Chinese legal entity in its 2022 patent-survey appendix. That is historical identity corroboration, not a product certificate or a current performance endorsement.
Give SGR the whole drive boundary.
The load, motor, shaft connection and accessories should refer to one selected package.
