The crane page states welded Q235-B housing, carburized/quench-hardened low-carbon alloy-steel gears and ZWZ bearings. It cites JB/T 8905 without an edition and describes gear accuracy as grade 6 without the full GB/T document number. Specify the applicable edition, measurement method and delivered material records in the purchase order; the website wording alone does not define the complete acceptance requirement.

A replacement enquiry starts with interfaces, not “equivalent.”

The modular replacement page lists these three designation groups. Parallel/perpendicular arrangements and several output connection options are part of the supplier’s modular description. They do not establish drop-in interchangeability with an imported gearbox.

For this modular family, the manufacturer describes low-alloy carburizing steel, carburizing/quenching, grade-6 gearing, German-brand or ZWZ bearings, and HT300 cast iron or Q235 welded housings. These are alternative construction descriptions. Confirm the offered bill of materials and housing design for the exact replacement; do not assume that all variants use the same casting or bearing make.

Send the original nameplate and dimensional drawing, foot bolt centres, shaft heights, diameters, coupling details and rotation direction. Add the operating torque/speed and load at the driven shaft. The output-bearing load, cooling system, lubrication position and space for maintenance can prevent a replacement even when the ratio is nominally correct.

Closed-loop performance testing

The company says its self-developed megawatt-class test bench measures input power, output torque, oil-temperature rise, efficiency and noise. Define the test load/speed, stabilisation time, lubricant, calibrated instruments and report format if a witnessed acceptance test is required. A listed bench does not mean every dispatched unit underwent your requested test.

Mining and safety scope

The official catalogue separately lists JS mining/conveyor reducers. An industrial modular gearbox and a mine-approved unit are different purchase scopes. For regulated use, obtain the certificate covering the exact model, holder and intended installation, alongside the site’s environmental and cooling requirements.

Other published ranges include GS high-speed gearboxes, N/P and NGW planetary reducers, cylindrical and bevel-cylindrical hardened-gear units, pumping-unit reducers and motorized drums. This independently corroborates the legal company name and that drafting role. It does not certify the QJ, YN or modular product shown here.

For a contract, use the Chinese legal name and confirm the invoicing entity, factory collection address and export-service arrangements. The historical factory name and XINKAI brand should not replace the legal seller’s name on a purchase order.

Include the machine drawing and load history. For a new drive, state the required function; for replacement, document the existing assembly before comparing frames.
